Coming to therapy can be intimidating and confusing. Life is not linear and there’s a lot we go through as humans. It is important that you find a safe space and someone who will listen. Whether you’re going through a mental health challenge or just don’t know what your path looks like…I am here.
As your therapist, my job is to provide a space where you feel heard, seen, and validated. At the conclusion of our time together each week, I hope that you will walk away feeling those things. In working with people from ages 7 to 70 I have learned we all have something in common. It’s that being a teenager is hard. Being a mom or dad is hard. Being an adult is hard. Suffering from mental health disorders is hard. And going to therapy is hard. So let’s work together and learn how to navigate what’s hard in your life.
We don’t have to start with the scary stuff because there is always going to be time on our side. Come sit in my office, chat for a little while, and see how you feel. Let’s see where you end up.

About Me: Born and raised near Seattle and yes, I miss the rain and the ocean. In the evenings I enjoy walks with my husband, son, and our dog Rufus. Chik-Fil-A and chocolate are for sure my guilty pleasures. I don’t read enough books and have watched The Office and Friends way too many times.
Bonus: I work alongside my canine sidekick! With a calm, gentle demeanor and a natural ability to provide comfort, Rufus creates a safe and soothing presence in our sessions. Whether it's offering a reassuring cuddle or simply sitting by your side, Rufus helps foster a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients can feel more at ease. If this is a problem for you, please let me know.
